Lenandlar Singh is a Lecturer and Head of  the Department of Computer Science at the University of Guyana. He was awarded a BSc in Computer Science  (2000) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (2005) from the University of Guyana. In 2007 he completed an MSc in Internet Applications Development from the  University of Brighton . He is currently the  Chief Examiner for the Caribbean Examinations Council’s CAPE Examinations in Information Technology.


My teaching focuses mainly in the following areas:

  • Computer Literacy
  • Internet Computing
  • Object Oriented Software Development
  • Management Information Systems

Research Interests:

My research is focused almost entirely on, but not limited to the following areas:

  • Computer Science Education
  • Mobile Learning and Web 2.0
  • E-learning
  • Internet Security
  • User Interface Design and Evaluation
  • ICT4D

    Thanks for liking my blog post Lenandlar. Your posts are interesting as I have never heard of this notion of anarchistic pedagogy. I am certainly aware of the over emphasis on employability that we are currently experiencing in higher education but I guess I don’t see the alternative as being anarchistic… Thanks again, Mara
